Construction Underway at Northern Lakes Surgery Center in Moose Lake

Construction is now underway at the Northern Lakes Surgery Center in Moose Lake after final permits were issued from the state.

St. Luke’s and Gateway Clinic have partnered on this multi-million-dollar project that will bring more healthcare resources to Moose Lake Area residents.

Northern Lakes Surgery Center is located at St. Luke’s Plaza where Shopko used to be at 4791 County Road 10. It will be in a building that’s 25,000 square feet and will use approximately 9,000 square feet, with the additional footage anticipated for two or three other tenants.

Not only will Northern Lakes Surgery Center create new choices for community members, it will be more economical, saving healthcare dollars for both employers who offer medical insurance and patients.

DSGW Architects is designing the surgery center and Donald Holm Construction is the general contractor. It is scheduled to open in December.
